Here is the alternative, with the prices already on the page
If you are looking for another option in Raleigh, this is ours: published flat prices you can read before you speak to anybody, a written total in about a minute, and a crew that carries everything out and disposes of it. No visit needed to get a number, and no number that changes once you have one.
You see the price before you call
That is the whole idea. Describe what is going in plain English — "a sofa, a mattress set and about ten bags" — and a flat total comes straight back. Compare it against anything you like before you book, because it is the same figure you will pay on the day.

A worked bedroom-and-living-room clear
Sofa $126, armchair $77, queen mattress set $143, large dresser $148 and ten bags $132 comes to $626 itemised. As one load it is the 12 cubic yard share at $587, and we quote the lower of the two.
Nothing added for stairs, floors or a long carry
Floor level, stair count, carry distance, hills and neighbourhood are all zero in our pricing. A third-floor walk-up off Hillsborough Street costs exactly what a ground-floor garage in Cary costs for the same load, and the crew does the carrying.
Disposal is inside the figure
No separate fuel line, tip fee, environmental charge or recycling surcharge, and nothing appended at the end. The price covers the crew, the truck, the carry, the loading, the drive and the disposal.
The price is fixed before we set off
You approve a total and that total is what you pay. If something extra turns up on the day, it comes off the same published list, the revised figure goes to your phone, and it only goes on the truck once you have said yes.
Insured, with a free certificate
JunkRabbit LLC carries commercial general liability at $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, an umbrella above it at $2 million per occurrence and $5 million aggregate, and workers' compensation. If your building, HOA or managing agent needs a certificate of insurance naming them, we issue it at no charge and it does not take days — and if they have a required form of words, send it and it goes on the certificate.
Condition never changes the price
Sagging, stained, water-marked or two decades out of style costs the same as pristine, because we price the space a piece takes on the truck rather than what it might have fetched. Nothing needs cleaning, repairing or dismantling first.
You do not carry anything
Nothing has to reach the kerb, the corridor or the driveway. The crew works from wherever the item is standing — an upstairs bedroom, a crawl space, the back of the garage, the deck.
Small jobs are welcome
A single mattress, one recliner, a stack of boxes: all perfectly ordinary bookings at the $75 minimum. There is no requirement to have a truckload before it is worth calling.
Where we collect
Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Durham, Chapel Hill, Wake Forest, Garner, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Morrisville, Knightdale and the rest of the Triangle, at identical published prices. Full detail sits on our Raleigh cost guide, and single pieces are covered on the couch removal page.
Awkward and heavy items are published too
The pieces that usually turn into a phone call are already on the list: a treadmill $115, a home gym $143, an elliptical $97, a large safe $260, an upright piano $364, a hot tub $390 and a pool table $603. Each is carried out by the crew, and the disposal is inside the figure. Our hot tub removal page covers the biggest of them.
One visit takes the lot
The garage, the spare room, the deck and the shed can all go on the same booking, priced as a single load rather than as several small jobs. That is both cheaper and one appointment instead of three, and the crew works room by room from wherever things are standing.

Frequently asked questions
what is a cheaper alternative to 1800 got junk in raleigh
Ours publishes its prices so you can compare before you call: a sofa is $126, a mattress and box spring set $143, a refrigerator $164, and whole rooms price on the smallest truck share that holds them, from $241 for 4 cubic yards to $732 for a full 16. Disposal is inside every figure and the Raleigh minimum booking is $75. Describe the load and the total comes back in about a minute.
how much does junk removal cost in raleigh
A quarter truck at 4 cubic yards is $241, a half at 8 is $431, a one-bedroom clear at 10 is $513 and a full 16 cubic yard load is $732 - crew, carry, loading, drive and disposal all included. Single items are flat: sofa $126, loveseat $119, queen mattress $103, treadmill $115, hot tub $390. The minimum booking is $75.
can i get a junk removal quote without someone coming out
Yes. Describe what is going in plain English, or send a few photos, and a written flat total comes back in about a minute - no appointment just to be given a number. That figure is what you pay on the day, so you can compare it against anything else and book straight from it.
Do you charge extra for stairs or an upstairs room?
No. Floor level, stair count, carry distance, hills and neighbourhood are all zero in our pricing, so a third-floor walk-up off Hillsborough Street costs exactly what a ground-floor garage in Cary costs for the same load. The crew does all the carrying and the figure you approved does not move.
Are you insured, and can I get a certificate?
Yes to both, and the certificate is free. JunkRabbit LLC carries commercial general liability at $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, an umbrella above it at $2 million per occurrence and $5 million aggregate, and workers' compensation. If your HOA or managing agent has a required form of words, send it over and it goes on the certificate before the crew arrives.
Is same-day junk removal more expensive?
Not with us. Same-day and next-day slots cost exactly what a booking three weeks out costs - no rush fee, no weekend rate, no short-notice surcharge - and they are ordinary across the Triangle. Take the earliest slot that suits you and the total stays exactly as quoted, agreed before we set off.
