The short answer

Tell us what the appliance is, pick a slot, and we carry it out and take it away for a flat Raleigh price. A refrigerator is $164. A washer is $133, a dryer $128. Dishwashers are $109. Nothing is added at the door, and disposal is already inside the number.

The Raleigh minimum is $75

That is a per-visit floor, not a per-item one. A single countertop microwave books at the $75 minimum — so if there is anything else lurking in the garage, add it to the same visit and get more for the same trip.

Broken does not cost more

A fridge that died last week and a fridge that died in 2014 are the same price. Rusted, leaking, dented, missing a door, full of somebody's forgotten freezer contents — all identical money. We price the space it takes on the truck, not its condition or resale value.

Stairs, basements and back doors are free

This is the part most people expect to be charged for. Floor level, stairs, the length of the carry from the appliance to where the truck can park, which part of Raleigh you are in, and how soon you want us are all set to zero in our pricing. A washer coming up out of a basement in Five Points costs the same as one already sitting in a driveway in Brier Creek. Mention the stairs when you book so we send enough hands — they simply do not change the price.

Disposal is already in the figure

No tip fee, no fuel line, no environmental charge, no recycling surcharge. What we quote covers the lifting, the truck and where the appliance ends up.

Two appliances at once

A washer and dryer together is $261 on live Raleigh prices — one visit, one flat figure, both carried out.

A full kitchen swap-out

Refrigerator, electric range and dishwasher going out ahead of a remodel: $407. Add the built-in microwave at $54 and the range hood at $53 and it is still one price, agreed before we set off.

Fridges, freezers and wine coolers

Sealed-system units are routine work for us. Leave the doors as they are, leave it where it stands, and we will get it out. No extra charge for a French-door unit that will not fit through the kitchen doorway the easy way — that is our problem, not yours.

Water heaters and HVAC

Tank water heaters are $131 and tankless $90. Window units are $59 and portables $85. If a plumber or HVAC crew has already pulled the old unit and left it in the yard, that is fine; if it is still standing in the utility closet, that is fine too, and the price is the same either way.

When there is a whole pile of it

If a garage or a rental unit has years of appliances in it, buying the space is often the simpler ask. A quarter truck is $241, a half $431, three-quarters $587, and a full sixteen-yard load $732. Those are capacities — we book the smallest share that holds everything, and we will quote it both ways so you can take whichever you prefer.

Same-day and next-day, no premium

Delivery of the new machine is Thursday and the old one has to be gone by Wednesday? Same-day and next-day slots are normal across Raleigh and Wake County, and booking one costs exactly the same as booking two weeks out.

A quote takes about a minute

Type "old fridge and a dryer, second floor" and a flat price comes straight back. No site visit, no in-home estimate, no waiting for a callback. Prefer to talk? Call and we will price it on the phone in the same minute.

If something extra turns up

Anything not described gets priced off the same public list you are reading, written up, and sent for your approval before it goes on the truck.

Frequently asked questions

how much does it cost to remove a refrigerator in raleigh

A standard refrigerator is $164 in Raleigh and a side-by-side or French-door unit is $183, carried out and disposed of, with nothing added at the door. Broken, leaking or full costs exactly the same as working. There is no charge for stairs or the walk to the truck. Add a second appliance to the same visit and you pay one flat figure for both.

do you take broken washers and dryers

Yes, and broken is the same price as working: a washer is $133, a dryer $128, and a stacked combo $189. Rust, dents, missing doors and dead motors change nothing, because we price the space it takes on the truck rather than its condition. A washer and dryer together is $261 in one visit, disposal included.

can you pick up an old appliance the same day in raleigh

Usually yes. Same-day and next-day slots are common across Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Durham and the rest of Wake County, and booking one costs no more than booking two weeks ahead - our pricing has no same-day surcharge at all. If a new machine is being delivered tomorrow, get a quote now and we will clear the space in time.

Is disposal included, or is there a dump fee on top?

It is included. Every price on this page covers the lifting, the truck and where the appliance ends up. There is no tip fee, no fuel line, no environmental charge and no recycling surcharge added afterwards. The number you agree before we set off is the number you pay, so it is safe to book straight from the quote.

Do I pay extra if the appliance is in a basement or upstairs?

No. Floor level, stairs, and how far the truck has to park from the door are all set to zero in our Raleigh pricing. A washer coming up out of a basement costs the same as one already in the driveway. Tell us about the stairs when you book so we send enough hands, then book knowing the price will not move.

What is the minimum for a single small item?

The Raleigh minimum is $75 per visit, so a lone countertop microwave at $30 books at $75. Because it is a per-visit floor rather than a per-item one, it is worth walking the garage first and adding anything else that is going - a window AC at $59 or a dehumidifier at $77 rides along on the same trip.
